Chimney Widgets are like little power-ups for your product pages and blog articles, popping up just when needed to engage visitors without being intrusive. With widgets, you can boost visibility, drive engagement, convert more visitors, and make sure everything stays on brand. From creation to customization, our widgets are designed to give you full control over how widgets appear and interact with users on your site.

Creating a Widget

After putting your Chimney global site script across your website, creating a widget for your calculators is simple and can be done directly from your account dashboard. Here's how you can start:

1. Add Widgets: Access your account and click on the "Add New" button located in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen. From the popup menu, select "Widget" to begin the creation process.Alternatively, you can navigate to the “Widgets” page and click “+Add Widget”.
2. Select a Calculator: Choose a calculator from the listed options for which you want to create a floating widget, then click “Create new widget”.
   • If the desired calculator isn’t listed, select “Create new calculator” to add a new calculator to your account.
3. Widget Management: After creating your widget, manage and edit it any time under the “Widgets” tab in your account.

Editing Your Widget

To ensure your widget fits perfectly with your site’s design and user experience, follow these editing steps:

• Access Widgets: Navigate to the “Widgets” section and click "Edit" next to the widget you wish to modify.
• Style Customization: Under the "Style" tab, adjust the widget’s color, layout, and icon to match your branding.

• Display Settings: In the "Display" section, update the heading text and tweak the display behaviors, ensuring optimal layout on both desktop and mobile.

• Targeting: Under the “Targeting” section, you can choose to show or hide your widget on specific web pages

• Advanced Customizations: For further customizations related to the calculator settings linked to the widget, click "Edit" at the top of the screen to go to the calculator’s edit page.‍
• Set Live: After making your adjustments, click “Save” to apply the changes for any respective field.
